Meet the Staff

Julie – Dental Hygienist

Julie is a dedicated dental hygienist with 25 years of experience providing compassionate, thorough dental care. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Forest Park Community College and has built her career around helping patients maintain healthy, confident smiles. Julie takes pride in making patients feel comfortable and cared for while providing personalized attention to their oral health needs.

Outside of the office, Julie is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoys cheering on the team. Her friendly personality and genuine care for her patients make her a valued member of the dental team.

Alison – Certified Dental Assistant

Alison began her dental career in 2015 when she graduated from Missouri College obtaining her CDA. After graduating she worked in pediatrics and switched to general dentistry and has been working with Dr. Niewdach ever since. She is a highly trained registered dental assistant who stays current with continuing dental education classes- a commitment she takes seriously to helping patients maintain their dental needs. She has advanced experience with whitening procedures and products. In her spare time she enjoys to travel, dining out, going to sporting events and spending quality time with her husband, Jeremy and three children, Lillian, Chase and Cecilia.

Shannon – Office Manager & Insurance Coordinator

Shannon has been working in the dental field for 7 years and brings experience, organization, and a caring approach to his role as Office Manager and Insurance Coordinator. He works closely with patients to help navigate insurance benefits, answer questions, and make the financial side of dental care as easy and straightforward as possible.

Shannon is committed to creating a welcoming experience for every patient while supporting the dental team and keeping the office running smoothly. His attention to detail, friendly personality, and dedication to patient care make him a valued member of the practice.

Delaney – Front Desk Coordinator & Dental Assistant

Delaney is a valued member of the Des Peres Smiles team, where she has been caring for patients for the past two years. She serves as both our Front Desk Coordinator and Dental Assistant, giving her the opportunity to connect with patients and support them throughout their dental experience.

At the front desk, Delaney helps with scheduling, questions, and making sure each patient feels welcomed from the moment they arrive. As a Dental Assistant, she works closely with our doctors and patients to help ensure appointments run smoothly and comfortably.

Outside of the office, Delaney enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and playing cards. She loves making memories, exploring new places, and enjoying time with the people she cares about.
